AUDITION
Etay Axelroad Dance Project is a vibrant collective devoted to creating and performing cutting-edge contemporary dance works under the guidance and vision of Etay Axelroad. With a focus on live and performance art as essential practices of human connection, the project engages audiences and communities in immersive experiences that empower a deeper understanding of the world and our place within it.
Etay Axelroad is a choreographer, dancer, director and educator.
He worked as a professional dancer with Batsheva, GöteborgsOperans Danskompani, KOR'SIA and S-E-D (Sharon Eyal & Gai Bechar). Since 2016 has been creating different works presented in various places in the world among Israel, Austria, Hungary, Sweden, Japan, USA, Spain, Germany and France. For the past decade he has been developing Dip Movement Methodology, which plays a core foundation in his creations and teachings.
A_MeN is a duet originally commissioned by Internationale Bühnenwerkstatt (Graz International Dance Festival, Austria). It is now coming back to Paris' Nuit Blanche in collaboration with Musee Transitoire 2026 on June 6th and will be performed in front of the Louvre Museum.
We are looking for:
Male identifying dancer. Highly skilled, versatile, with a unique physical presence, refined technical capacities, with strong ability to learn quickly, adapt material to individual physicality, and navigate shifting spatial conditions is essential.
Specific Requirements:

Reserve 17-25/05/2026 for rehearsals.
